A range of ten particle boards was prepared at Princes Risborough Laboratory from Pinus sylvestris chips of defined geometry, bonded with one of five adhesives including phenol-formaldehyde (PF), urea-formaldehyde (UF) and melamine/urea-formaldehyde (MF/UF) resins.
