Studies were carried out in Egypt from July 1961 to May 1962 on fluctuations in the numbers of adults of Tenebroides mauritanicus (L.) and Sitophilus oryzae (L.) in a mound of wheat stored in the open near Cairo and from February 1962 to October 1962 on fluctuations in populations of adults T. mauritanicus on the external surfaces of sacks of flour stored near Giza.
