In continued studies in Japan on methods of estimating populations of mosquito larvae, the distribution pattern of larvae of Culex tritaeniorhynchus summorosus Dyar in rice-fields near Nagasaki City was shown to be of an aggregated type and to follow a negative binomial distribution with a common value of the constant k.
