, : Studies on the possibility of transmission of Taenia saginata to the foetus after experimental infection of cows. Medycyna Weterynaryjna 31(6): 334-335

Fifteen cows and heifers, 5-8 months pregnant, were each given 500000 Taenia saginata eggs. Biopsy of the masseter muscle 6-10 weeks later revealed Cysticercus bovis in all these animals.
