Studies on the possible relationships of microbodies and multivesicular bodies to oxalate, endopolygalacturonase, and cellulase (Cx) production by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum

, : Studies on the possible relationships of microbodies and multivesicular bodies to oxalate, endopolygalacturonase, and cellulase (Cx) production by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. Canadian Journal of Botany 50(8): 1743-1748

The presence of multivesicular bodies was not correlated with the production of oxalate or extracellular hydrolases but more microbodies containing crystals were found in hyphal tips grown in media which supported greater extracellular enzyme production.
