In a growth chamber experiment, 14-day-old seedlings of (a) Brachiaria ruziziensis and (b) Calopogonium mucunoides, grown at 1550 ft candles, were allowed 10, 11, 12 or 14 days photosynthesis during a 14-day period in relative light intensities of 100, 50 and 34%, where 100% was equivalent to 1550 ft candles.
