In general, bud fertility increased from the basal part of the shoot to the middle and then decreased towards the apex, but the precise pattern depended on the In Hasandede and Furmint the basal buds were relatively productive. In Kalecik Karasi the 3 distal buds (5, 6 and 7) were the most productive.
