, : Studies on the protein metabolism of the rat with L-histidine-2,5-T. Wiener Tierarztliche Monatsschrift 59(8/9): 247-254

Sprague-Dawley rats 10 weeks of age were divided into 6 groups of 10 of each sex, caged individually and given a protein-rich diet with casein 19 and methionine 1%. Feed was withdrawn 12 h before experiments and restored 1 h after the rats were given by stomach tube 50 mu Ci/100 g bodyweight of L-histidine-2,5-3H.
