Studies on the quantitative interrelation of the constituents of the rice grain

, : Studies on the quantitative interrelation of the constituents of the rice grain. Niigata Agricultural Science Niigata Norin Kenkyu (24): 1-5

In this study, a high negative correlation was observed between protein content and starch content, and there were negative correlations between protein and oil content and between oil and potassium phosphate. Positive correlations were observed between the contents of starch and oil, protein and potassium phosphate and potassium and phosphoric acid. In grain with a high protein content, starch and oil contents tended to be low and phosphoric acid and potassium contents to be high.
