Studies on the radiation breeding in the genus Mentha XV. A comparison of biological effects between gamma -rays and X-rays on mint seeds

, : Studies on the radiation breeding in the genus Mentha XV. A comparison of biological effects between gamma -rays and X-rays on mint seeds. Scientific Reports of the Faculty of Agriculture, Okayama University (40): 1-7

More mutants were found among plants grown from gamma -irradiated than X-irradiated seeds. gamma -Rays induce more sterility in plants than X-rays provided the X-ray dosage is relatively low.
