Studies on the radiation breeding in the genus Mentha. (XII) Variation in quantitative characters of X2 plant after hybridization and irradiation in mint

, : Studies on the radiation breeding in the genus Mentha. (XII) Variation in quantitative characters of X2 plant after hybridization and irradiation in mint. Scientific Reports of the Faculty of Agriculture, Okayama University Okayama Daigaku Nogakubu Gakujutsu Hokuku 46(10): 1-7

Seeds of M. arvensis, M. spicata and their hybrid were treated with gamma rays. In the R1, fertility was reduced but more so in M. arvensis and the hybrid than in M. spicata. In the R2, mean seed size was similar to that in unirradiated controls, but variance was higher in the irradiated populations.

Variation at the IL-28B locus was recently reported to be a significant predictive factor of viral response to pegylated-interferon plus ribavirin combination therapy against chronic hepatitis C. Predictive factors for the effect of therapy, inclu...

The dsRNA of GgV-Taian hybridized with viral dsRNA of distantly related species...
