Studies on the raising of the phosphorus content of soil (double-lactate method)

, : Studies on the raising of the phosphorus content of soil (double-lactate method). Archiv fur Acker und Pflanzenbau und Bodenkunde 16(12): 915-919

The annual accumulation of Dl-soluble P in soil is considered to be a function of the amount of fertilizer P that remains in the soil in excess of plant uptake. The addition of 23 to 83kg P/ha is recommended for sand, slightly loamy sands and loamy sands, and of 6 to 25kg P/ha for sandy loams to clays. These treatments are more effective when applied in small rates over several years.
