Seedlings of the varieties Vam-Hicks, Bel-W3, Bel-B and Speight 63 were exposed to sulphur dioxide and mixtures of sulphur dioxide and ozone at subthreshold concentrations. Only Speight 63 was resistant to sulphur dioxide.
