Studies on the regulation of seed germination in the South African Proteaceae

, : Studies on the regulation of seed germination in the South African Proteaceae. Agroplantae 5(4): 111-116

The effects were compared of soaking, intermittent leaching, scarification and oxygen treatments on the germination of Protea compacta, P. barbigera, Leucadendron daphnoides and Leucospermum cordifolium seeds. Seed soaking and intermittent leaching were both detrimental to germination.
