Studies on the relation between CCC treatment and Septoria infection of spring wheat under controlled climatic conditions

, : Studies on the relation between CCC treatment and Septoria infection of spring wheat under controlled climatic conditions. Zeitschrift fur Acker und Pflanzenbau 133(2): 137-156

In pot experiments symptoms of Septoria nodorum on leaves and ears of var. Opel were not increased by CCC treatment or by high N application. Of the climatic factors tested only RH increased infection. CCC treatment reduced the number of grains/ear and increased the 1000 grain wt. The reduction of 1000 grain wt. by infection was independent of the CCC effect, whereas reduction in grains/ear and in yield was promoted by it.
