Studies on the relation between zinc and malignant tumor. 3. Zinc contents in organs of normal mice and effects of zinc on Ehrlich ascites tumor

, : Studies on the relation between zinc and malignant tumor. 3. Zinc contents in organs of normal mice and effects of zinc on Ehrlich ascites tumor. Journal of Nara Medical Association 23(3): 187-194

3. Zn was estimated in the organs of mice from 1 to 12 months old. Mice 1 month old generally had the highest values; Zn in testes was 34.41 mu g/g. Values were low in mice from 6 to 12 months old. Zn in most organs was higher in females than in males. Ehrlich ascites carcinoma was transplanted into mice which were given no Zn or 50 or 1000 mg Zn/kg diet for about 25 days.
