Studies on the relationship between chemical contents of rice plants and resistance to rice blast disease

, : Studies on the relationship between chemical contents of rice plants and resistance to rice blast disease. Korean Journal of Plant Protection 13(1): 33-39

Silicate and flavanoid contents in rice leaves decreased inversely with application of N fertilizer and were negatively correlated with blast severity. Contents of both compounds and numbers of silicified cells were much higher in the resistant var.
