Studies on the relationships of Tetranychus urticae Koch and host plants. IV. Gustatory effect of some carbohydrates

, : Studies on the relationships of Tetranychus urticae Koch and host plants. IV. Gustatory effect of some carbohydrates. Polskie Pismo Entomologiczne 43(3): 521-533

In this further part of a series from Poland (cf. preceding abstract, etc.), details are given of studies in which it was shown that the feeding behaviour of Tetranychus urticae Koch is influenced to a considerable extent by the concentration of carbohydrates in the diet offered. Most of the carbohydrates tested stimulated feeding.
