Studies on the resistance of Oncomelania snails to molluscicides

, : Studies on the resistance of Oncomelania snails to molluscicides. Research in filariasis and schistosomiasis Volume 2: 103-111

Previous work on the possibility of Oncomelania nosophora developing resistance to sodium pentachlorophenate, which is one of the molluscicides most commonly used in Japan for controlling schistosomiasis, is reviewed and discussed. It is concluded that there is no evidence so far that this has happened.
