Studies on the rhizosphere mycoflora of broad bean and cotton. IV. The influence of the rhizosphere fungi on plant growth

, : Studies on the rhizosphere mycoflora of broad bean and cotton. IV. The influence of the rhizosphere fungi on plant growth. Mycopathologia et Mycologia Applicata 54(2): 173-180

The broad bean rhizosphere fungi Fusarium moniliforme Penicillium martensii, Rhizopus stolonifer and Cladosporium sphaerospermum stimulated shoot and root growth of broad bean seedlings whereas Aspergillus niger and Alternaria tenuis inhibited growth. P. cyclopium, Aspergillus terreus, C. sphaerospermum, Cephalosporium sp., A. niger and F. oxysporum from the cotton rhizosphere stimulated growth of cotton seedlings.
