Studies on the shootborer Hypsipyla grandella (Zell.) (Lep., Pyralidae) XVIII. Records of two parasites new to Costa Rica

, : Studies on the shootborer Hypsipyla grandella (Zell.) (Lep., Pyralidae) XVIII. Records of two parasites new to Costa Rica. Turrialba 23(2): 235-236

In this further part of a series from Costa Rica (see preceding abstract, etc.), it is reported that Trichogramma fasciatum (Perkins), which had not previously been recorded from Costa Rica, was reared from eggs of Hypsipyla grandella (Zell.) collected on fruits and small branches of Cedrela odorata in January 1973. Brachymeria conica (Ashm.) is also recorded for the first time from Costa Rica.
