In this further part of a series from Costa Rica the author describes from the adults of both sexes a Pyralid, Humiphila paleolivacea gen. et sp. n., larvae of which were found feeding beneath dead bark of Carapa guineensis and in organic matter at the base of the trunk. Characters of the new genus are given.
