In this further part of a series on Hypsipyla grandella (Zell.) in Costa Rica, it is stated that a reversal of the photoperiod of 12 h and the scotoperiod of 12 h under which the moth was being reared in the laboratory for at least the last two days of the pupal stage caused the adults to emerge during the morning instead of during the evening.Other references
