Studies on the simulation of harvesting system of grass as a winter crop in paddy fields

, : Studies on the simulation of harvesting system of grass as a winter crop in paddy fields. Journal of the Central Agricultural Experiment Station (21): 119-160

Models were developed for a soiling system, a transport system for haymaking and a haymaking system for grass grown as a winter crop in paddy fields. With the soiling and haymaking systems maximum benefits were obtained with harvesting an area of 10-12 and 5.5 ha, respectively, in each case when the grass was >70 cm high.
