Studies on the slaughter value of F1 crosses between Nadbuzanski and Polish Large White pigs

, : Studies on the slaughter value of F1 crosses between Nadbuzanski and Polish Large White pigs. Roczniki Nauk Rolniczych, B 93(2): 237-249

The experiments were conducted on 4 crossbred piglets (av. initial body weight 20.20 kg) from each of 3 unrelated Polish native sows of the primitive Nadbuzanski type mated with Polish Large White (PLW) boars. They were fattened to approx. 100 kg live weight. Data are tabulated on food consumption and conversion, fattening performance, carcass measurements, and contents of meat, fat, bone and skin in the primal cuts.
