Studies on the spread and control of corn marigold (Chrysanthemum segetum L.) in the Rostock area

, : Studies on the spread and control of corn marigold (Chrysanthemum segetum L.) in the Rostock area. Nachrichtenblatt fur den Pflanzenschutzdienst in der DDR 26(8): 163-165

C. segetum occurred in 43% of the areas surveyed in the Rostock district during 1971, showing a preference for light to medium acidic soils. In oats and spring barley bromofenoxim at 1.75 kg/ha was the best treatment and DNOC and dinoseb acetate were active initially, but C. segetum showed resistance to treatment after the 2- to 4-leaf stage.
