Studies on the sterile-male technique as a means of control of Adoxophyes orana F.R. (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae). 2. Dose-response curves after irradiation of the moths with X-rays or fast neutrons

, : Studies on the sterile-male technique as a means of control of Adoxophyes orana F.R. (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae). 2. Dose-response curves after irradiation of the moths with X-rays or fast neutrons. Netherlands Journal of Plant Pathology 79(4): 148-155

In this further part of a series from the Netherlands (cf. preceding abstract) on the development of the sterile-male technique for the control of Adoxophyes orana (Fisch. v. Roesl.) on apple, details are given of the effects of the exposure of adult males and females to X-rays or fast neutrons. The moths were irradiated within 24 h of emerging. The dose response curves for the percentage egg hatch after irradiation are shown on graphs.

The most common adverse effects of CPAP are related to the upper airways. We evaluated upper-airway symptoms before and after a CPAP trial as well as their effect on CPAP adherence. We also evaluated the effect of humidification added to CPAP ther...
