Fruit of both cvs, about 250 g in weight, hard ripe, packed in sealed 0.06 mm thick polyethylene 20 X 30 cm bags and stored at 1 plus or minus 1 deg C and 90% RH kept well for 4 months. Similar fruit in CA storage viz. 3% CO2 and 10 plus or minus 2% O2 for the Kukusui, and 3-4% CO2 and 10 plus or minus 2% O2 for the Nijusseiki kept well for 6 months.
