Studies on the stratified and two-stage sampling methods applied in forest inventory, by comparison of sampling error and relative efficiency

, : Studies on the stratified and two-stage sampling methods applied in forest inventory, by comparison of sampling error and relative efficiency. Quarterly Journal of Chinese Forestry 5(4): 7-54

Compares several types of two-stage sampling with simple stratified random sampling on the basis of data for 221 0.1-ha plots in Luan-ta forest, Taiwan. The first stage of sampling was applied to 20 blocks of unequal size.
