Studies on the survival of Salmonella typhimurium and Salmonella bovis-morbificans on soil and sheep faeces

, : Studies on the survival of Salmonella typhimurium and Salmonella bovis-morbificans on soil and sheep faeces. Research in Veterinary Science 13(2): 150-153

Enumeration of salmonellae Salmonella typhimurium and S. bovis-morbificans) on experimentally inoculated plots containing soil or sheep faeces under various climatic and environmental conditions, suggests that survival is greatest where the organisms are protected from the direct action of sunlight, and where organic material is present.
