Studies on the susceptibility of different cereal species to the take-all pathogen, Ophiobolus graminis Sacc

, : Studies on the susceptibility of different cereal species to the take-all pathogen, Ophiobolus graminis Sacc. Mitteilungen aus der Biologischen Bundesanstalt fur Land und Forstwirtschaft Berlin Dahlem (160): 61

In greenhouse tests of seedlings, more than 2000 species and cultivars of wheat and over 300 lines all proved highly susceptible, though a few winter wheats in the monococcum group were slightly less so. In the field, all the cultivars and lines tested (more than 760) were severely attacked, though some intervarietal differences in the extent of white-ear symptoms were observed.
