It is recorded in this further part of a series (cf. preceding abstract) that a strain of Trypanosoma cruzi was isolated by xenodiagnosis and culture and subsequent inoculation into baby rats and mice, from an individual of Philander opossum quica trapped at Ribeirao Preto, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
