Studies on the technology of pepper growing in polythene greenhouses

, : Studies on the technology of pepper growing in polythene greenhouses. Nauchni Trudove, Vissh Selskostopanski Institut "Vasil Kolarov" 20(2): 25-31

The effect of spacing was studied in the capsicum Sipka Romanska in polythene greenhouses. The soil temperature was 2.5 to 7.1 deg C higher than that in the open. The minimum air temperature and RH were also higher. The greatest earliness, resulting in a yield of 10 380 kg/ha by mid-June, was obtained with 3-row bands at 50 + (30X2) + 20 cm, which outyielded by 24.8% the control plants spaced at 50 X 20 cm.
