Studies on the toxicity of some insecticides for the gold-eyed lacewing (Chrysopa carnea Steph.) (Neuroptera, Chrysopidae)

, : Studies on the toxicity of some insecticides for the gold-eyed lacewing (Chrysopa carnea Steph.) (Neuroptera, Chrysopidae). Biuletyn Instytutu Ochrony Roslin (45): 99-107

Laboratory tests were made in Poland in 1967 to determine the effects of 25% oxydemeton-methyl (Metasystox R), 50% carbaryl (Sevin wettable 50) and 24% mevinphos (Phosdrin 24% EC) on laboratory-bred eggs and larvae of Chrysopa carnea Steph. The eggs were immersed for ten seconds in acetone solutions of the preparations and the larvae were exposed for one h on blotting paper previously treated with them.
