Studies on the toxins of Pyricularia. 2. Detection of pyriculol in blast diseased leaves of Gramineae

, : Studies on the toxins of Pyricularia. 2. Detection of pyriculol in blast diseased leaves of Gramineae. Current Science 43(11): 348-349

In tests of extracts from 6 gramineous hosts inoculated with P. oryzae only the lesions on Brachiaria mutica yielded pyriculol, although the compound was detectable in culture filtrates of all isolates except the one from rice.
