Studies on the transplantation of fertilized ova in the rabbit

, : Studies on the transplantation of fertilized ova in the rabbit. Korean Journal of Animal Science 13(1): 30-36

In a study involving 74 females weighing approx. 2.0 kg, donors and recipients were treated with various combinations of oestrogen, progesterone, PMS and HCG; the recipients were mated with vasectomised males prior to ovum transplantation (at the 8-cell to morula stage). Of the 7 treatment groups, only 1 yielded progeny.
