For part 2 see NAR 42, 9127.3. Nutritional status in Kitakyushu City was studied in the 8 years 1964-71 and related to yearly changes in intake of different foods. Diet pattern differed most from the Japanese standard in the low intake of dairy produce, soya bean and soya products. It was closest in maize and vegetables.
