Chick embryo fibroblast cultures were prepared from eggs laid by hens from a leucosis-infected flock. The cultures were examined for leucosis virus antigen by the COFAL test. Group-specific antigen was detected in third-passage cultures derived from 12 of 25 hens at titres of 1:8 to 1:32.
