One hundred and three Moniezia-infected sheep from 4 flocks in Poland were treated with Sagimid granulate at doses of 50 or 100 mg/kg body-weight, either twice with a 10-day interval or on 3 consecutive days, given in food. The treatment cured all animals, except in the group receiving two 50 mg doses, where 2 of 28 treated animals were positive in faecal tests.
