Studies on the utilization of Almaciga resin in the papermaking industry

, : Studies on the utilization of Almaciga resin in the papermaking industry. Philippine Lumberman 18(4): 24, 26, 28

Laboratory studies on Agathis philippinensis resin showed that it is a poor source of paper size. This may be attributable to its chemical composition; salts of the resin acids, precipitated by cyclo-hexylamine in acetone, were not of the abietane type.
