Studies on the utilization of mineral nitrogen when applied in combination with molybdenum to peas
Rubes, L.; Neuberg, J., 1973: Studies on the utilization of mineral nitrogen when applied in combination with molybdenum to peas. Rostlinna Vyroba 19(1): 15-31
In field trials peas, Orlik, were given PK plus N at 3 different rates and in 3 different forms with or without Mo. The highest seed yields were produced by N at 15 kg/ha applied as calcium nitrate at a N:P2O5:K2O ratio of 0.3:1:2. N in this form at 60 kg/ha reduced seed yield but increased haulm yield. Calcium nitrate had a more favourable effect on seed yield than ammonium sulphate or ammonium nitrate with limestone.
