, : Studies on the variability in pearl millet in Mysore State. Mysore Journal of Agricultural Sciences 5(4): 431-439

Nine characters were investigated in 151 varieties of Pennisetum typhoides. There was a wide range of variability for primary ear length, primary ear weight, 1000-grain weight, grain weight per primary ear and grain yield. Genotypic variation was higher for ear length and grain yield than for other characters.
