Studies on the varietal resistance of rice to the green rice leafhopper, Nephotettix cincticeps Uhler

, : Studies on the varietal resistance of rice to the green rice leafhopper, Nephotettix cincticeps Uhler. Korean Journal of Plant Protection 12(1): 47-53

Investigations were carried out in Korea on the resistance of rice varieties from Korea and from the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines to Nephotettix cincticeps (Uhl.), using antibiosis and oviposition and feeding preferences as criteria. A survey was also made of local biotypes of the leafhopper to see whether the rice varieties reacted differently to them.
