The effect of P, K and FYM on the build-up and depletion of nutrients in soil in a fixed wheat-maize

, : The effect of P, K and FYM on the build-up and depletion of nutrients in soil in a fixed wheat-maize. Journal of Research, Ludhiana 11(2): 182-186

In a long-term experiment in a wheat-maize rotation on a non-saline sandy loam soil low in C, low in available N and P, and with a moderate amount of K, P application significantly increased total N and available P, and decreased available K. The cation exchange capacity increased significantly only under continuous application of farmyard manure.
