The effects of high rates of herbicides on some groups of soil micro-organisms

, : The effects of high rates of herbicides on some groups of soil micro-organisms. Pamietnik Pulawski (51): 69-76

See also WA 21, 1119 for an account of herbicide effects on soil algae. Atrazine and prometryne at 10 and 20 kg, Telvar (monuron 80%) 10 and 15 kg and Antyperz (TCA sodium 38%) 50 and 75 litres ha were applied for 5 years running, starting in 1964, on a degraded chernozem soil. Soil samples were taken on 7 different dates during the growing season of 1968.
