Tolerance to greening disease in certain citrus species

, : Tolerance to greening disease in certain citrus species. Current Science 42(14): 513-514

When 1- to 11/2-year-old seedlings of 25 citrus spp. and varieties were inoculated with the greening pathogen in the greenhouse, only sweet lime, Watson pummelo and Citrus assamensis showed mild or no symptoms. The best 3 sweet lime plants were then planted in an infected orchard with sweet orange and mandarin plants, and exposed to natural infection through psyllas.
