The subject is discussed and some tabular data on the yields of various oat/barley/pea mixtures and subsequent rye crops grown at Posorty, Poland, in 1955-8 are included. In more recent trials in 1969-71, the effect of 25-75 kg N/ha on the yield of a mixture of oats Udycz Zolty sown at 135 kg/ha and peas Kosieczynska sown at 40 kg/ha was examined.
