otal and available Zn were positively correlated and were in the ranges 6.94-130.75 ppm (total) and 0.21-16 ppm (available). In the Baster District (red and yellow soils), nearly all soils were deficient in zinc; in Bhind (alluvial), nearly 90% were deficient.
