Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in Ascaridia galli

, : Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in Ascaridia galli. Problemy parazitologii Trudy VII Nauchnoi Konferentsii Parazitologov USSR Part 1: 417-418

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) was localised in the hypodermis of Ascaridia galli, uniformly along the whole length of the body, and without sex differentiation. Homogenates prepared from the cuticular muscular sac of A. galli showed ATP activity which was optimal in an alkaline medium. Homogenates of A. galli obtained from hyperimmune chicks showed more ATP activity than those obtained from A. galli from control chicks.
