Adsorption and mobility of linuron and simazine in soils

, : Adsorption and mobility of linuron and simazine in soils. Journal of the Agricultural Association of China (101): 81-88

See also WA 26, 4057. In trials with clay loam, loam and sandy loam soils, linuron and simazine were applied at 3 and 6 kg/ha. Herbicide adsorption was correlated positively with soil OM and clay contents. Simazine adsorption decreased with the increase in pH and linuron was adsorbed much more than simazine. The soil mobility of herbicides decreased with the increase in OM and clay contents; simazine was more mobile than linuron and more affected by pH.
